haha cheers dude, except there 20's! just running 245 rubber.lol

i got custom k mac springs, so they got made to my specs which im pretty sure was 3 3/4 inch drop at the rear. im pretty sure that once i cut my bumpstops it will go about 10mm lower at the rear.. the bumps are about 2 1/2 inches worth so i might even be able to tuck some rim at the end of it all

im liking the white wall goodness!
didnt think it would suit but i was proved wrong by these piccies. lol

personally, i think it suits the darker coloured cars better than the lighter ones - esp the ones without huge bling bling chrome mags too... the white wall just gets lost in all the chrome and light car colour. (IMO)

now that you got all that wheel space... you need bigger brakes to fill the gaps out nicely

I agree. I think the white walls would suit smaller rims. Looks a bit like a roman chariot. But if this is the look you wanted, then top marks for the effort. Still turns heads I bet.

to those who have white walls,

has anyone had the problem of oils and stuff ruining the paint? one of my wheels has gone a ugly as brown or egg white! ha. my mate that did them gave me this tough as wheel cleaner that supposeidly does the trick, if it doesnt he said he'll jsut do it again. but just wondering what other people done that this happened too?

andrewd
25-09-2007, 10:32 AM
they arent real white walls, they are painted on so what you use on real rubber white walls will rub the white off them

what i used to do every 2 weeks

get my trusty posca paint marker ( i have 2 in the glove box) and quickly go around all 4

lasts 2 weeks, before the white walls turn the same colour as my car (kashmir) lol

and when washing the car keep the high pres away from the white otherwise it'll wash off

also dont spray tyre shine directly on... once you get the white wet with that stuff it can run, and then it almost impossible to touch it up again

instead buy the tyre silicone from auto store (thich clear tyre silicone tyre shine) and apply by hand with rag or something to the black bit only!

easy, it only takes 15min tops every 2 weeks to keep them looking good as new!

otherwise, go back steal the paint they use and the applicator.... but i dont think you'll be able to get your hands on it

hedgie
25-09-2007, 11:17 AM
aaaaah i never thoguht of whipping out the posca's! yeah and never use degreaser on your wheels or like ya said tyre shine even before you get them done ruins it aswelll! thanks andrew ill get some new fat headed posca's!
