View Full Version : Auto tranny's?
Maybe not exactly on topic... But my Van has a Mitsubishi 4G54 2.6ltr in it... the earlier model... same as the sigma's...carby etc. It has an Auto trans in it... Now the pan gasket is leaking and i wanna order and fit a new one... but can someone tell me what kind of auto it is so i get the right part? Anyone got any idea? I presumed it might be the same box the 1st gen Magna runs but cant be sure... thanks!!
The Van has the 2.6ltr retro fitted so it wouldn't match up to any auto catalog's.

I am presuming it is a 3 speed auto? The sigmas came out with two auto boxes, a borg warner auto and a torqueflite auto.

It is a 3 speed yes.... Did both the BW and TF come in 3 speeds?

only have a sigma manual from 1980 to 1983 GH-GJ 2600 cc
Borg Warner 3 speed only one mentioned
flat square pan 15 bolts T shaped filter
count the number of bolts on the pan to order the right part
Thanks! I'll check 2morro!
