I have turned this car into a muck around everday car now, untill i get another car!
then its going to have the works done to it.
i am using the paintwork for airbrushing, wether a fan or not of airbrushing, just wanting comments on the qaulity etc.. design is crap i am sure and not many people are fans of it i know...
don't worry :) next week i am going ballz to the wall and doing a full dragon head on the bonnet :) hehe im sure i will stuff it up... but oh well too bad so sad..
btw thanks for the kudos ol fart :)

How embarressment .......... it took me ages to realise it was upside down. lol Thanks for pointing that out...I was going to post something about a burning flower with an arm.lol Now I've got a crick in the neck.
I like the colours.:) Do you put a coating over it to protect it?

dont doo a dragonn on the bonnet!
do something unique, make your own cool design. dragons are gay. lol sorry.
try a mystical character/creature...maybe the king of the sea - the dude with the trident. the dragon to me for one says rice, and two says.....rice.

Yes Max
Airbrushing is done over the Base coat.
A clear coat is the applied to the surface which can be cut back/buffed / and polished etc..
this protects the design and allows for colour enhancement through the clear coat.

FTW, i kno ur not an expert, but u could simplyfy this one i think! i think its so much more original than a dragon. get rid of the background, use the main figure, and the sun.

SSSSSooooooo.. How bout those dolphins?
Seriously, a good effort. Personally I don't really like latest home attempts I've seen, they look like stencils and it's tacky rather than actual flowing paint.. But it's better than what I could do!

yeah looks tacky looks like a decal from ebay sorry
i wouldn't be practicing on my car, buy a panel for $20 from the wreckers and practice on that until you can airbrush like this. this is actually a home job done after 2 months of practicing then gave it a shot and applied it to his sigma fuel door cover

looks great dimi, remember i said 1st go not 50th...
i only played with my wing because i can easily take it off and spray it... plus it needs to be sprayed again soon anyhow.....
i will be playing this weekend with a bit more paint on a board... so i will see how i go :)
maybe i will try that winged dude design that someone posted...
yeh looks like you used a stencil, the art is to not use one and blur lines freehand, i seen someone brush that good that he sprayed a paper on the wall as a pinup with a stick man on it with the store owners name, it looked exactly like a child drew a stick figure on lined paper and stuck it on the wall, it looked so real that the owner walked up and tried to remove it but was flat.

not exactly airbrushing but i know some ppl who "used" to pass it off as such
get a poster with a picture you like
spray poster with clear for cpl coats
after it's dried put clear coated poster in tub of warm water for while
"gently" remove paper from back with a sponge whilst in tub
spray bonnet or other surface with water (fine mist)
apply sheet of clear with image of poster to surface
squeegee out any water
clear coat surface
charge $$$
laugh :D
