Hello AMC,
I am looking at putting some different 18's on my 04 TL ES.
I am looking at the CSA Raker's.
I have been told, they have a load rating of 1000kg, and an offset of P36.
Now, i have done a search of the forums, and people have been quoting the 3rd gen offset as 46?
Will these tyres fit my magna? And what impact does this offset difference have in terms of modding, i,e, lowering etc.?
Thanks,
birchy

a +36 offset would stick out 10mm more than a +46 offset, so thats probably not far off, other than that everything sounds fine

Does this mean it will stick outside of the body of the vehicle? Which could possibly mean that i wont be able to lower the car, cos the mud guards will rub?
Or legality wise?

It means its illegal to have wheels sticking out of your guards... not to mention it looks crap.
If you get the wrong offset, you'll find when lowering time comes around you'll have a hard time fitting the wheels in the guards and not having them scrub.

So i assume correctly that the offset for Magna's is a P46. I have noticed a lot of people are going for the ROH Vapour and Flare range, and it seems from their website they have a P46 offset.
I like the Raker look though.

go to the site above and put in your stock rim/tyre combo. then put in what you want.
the offset is important, but not the only thing you need to look at. if the rims are much wider, you'll change the track of the car even with the same offset.
