Just wondering about what clutches and flywheels u used when you did the conversion.
Did you:
a) Keep the 3.0 clutch and flywheel and are happy with this,
b) keep the 3.0 clutch and flywheel and wish you had got the 3.5,
c) keep the 3.0 clutch and flywheel and blown up your clutch
d) change to a 3.5 clutch and flywheel and notice no difference
e) change to a 3.5 clutch and flywheel and have since blown up your gearbox:rant:

I'm about to do the conversion and was just going to use my 3.0 flywheel and get a new clutch as the old one is startin to slip and wanted to know what path you travelled down.

Cheers,
Chris

I used my 3.0 clutch and flywheel as the RPM HD clutch in there was/is still good (standard clutch face with 30% stronger clamping force, basically one stage above stock). I'm happy with it. There is the rare occasion that It can slip ever so slightly if you really wind up the revs on a hard launch, but it's a good fuse for what we now know to be weak diffs.

Seeing my car is pretty much stock aside from cat-back exhaust and Unichip, it's up to the task of putting the power to the ground. If you plan to do any real engine modifications, I'd probably upgrade to a proper HD clutch on the 3.0 flywheel as a cheaper option, or totally upgrade to a 3.5 setup.
