This is aimed at Perry and whoever else has done, or is attempting the climate control modification.

I've had my climate control components for a while now, and I just pulled my glove box out to reveal that the manual aircon controls use a physical system to manipulate the temperature rather than electrical (I assume solenoids to operate..)

This, as some might realise, renders the installation of the climate control effectively useless unless a solenoid device can be obtained, or the original blower assembly retrieved out of the donor car, which could end up quite expensive.

I also have that photo of the loom you were after too, Perry.

Mirror posted on Mitsubishi Club Australia (http://www.mitsubishiclubaustralia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=42040#42040).

Any thoughts?

your will need the blower boxes, i was going to attempt to tdo the conversion, but
i got a ks verada, i have the tree blower boxes that are needed but i need the heater for
my car.

all you need to do is take the dash out, take the boxes out, air con hose comes off.
(loose gas) put new boxes in, hook everything up, (with computer) put sensor in dash,
put the sensor in the hood.. put the dash back in, put the new face in and the hook up

Re gas when 100% sure its all go, and then you should be right.....Fill in any spots anyone if
i left anything out...

Cheers dean

Just quickly dashed to the wreckers and got the solenoids, fitted them up no worries  Investigating wiring later... next week maybe.

Sensor in the dash? Where is that...

Sensor in the dash? Where is that... :rant:Think it's in the very centre, up against the windscreen.
Isn't there also a roof one?
