Picked it up brand new this afternoon :-)

The Tekonsha Prodigy worked great, and the Magna handles it nicely.

Got/considering getting a transmission cooler?

Thanks guys. I am considering and will get a transmission cooler, but not for this trip. The car runs out of warranty in November, so I'll leave the tinkering until then. I have an oil leak between the engine & transmission for them to fix.

Haven't decided on a 2nd hand 2nd gen Magna one or an aftermarket one from Repco for $100 or so. I'll have a look at a MMAL one before I decide, I guess.

We're all ready to go in the morning... it will be interesting to see what the fuel consumption is at the end of the day.
