Done some searches with no specific luck.
For all who have fitted a Pod Filter to their 3rd gens.
How have you secured it?
I found one AMCer who said they made up a custom bracket but no pics.
Any advice, pics, what have you used, etc.
Thanks.

You can sorta see from this pic. I've attached a custom made aluminum bar from the bottom rear of the pod to the strut brace.

Thanks for the high-res pic.
Puck counts that as another excuse for a front strut brace lol

Sorry for the delay in posting up a pic of my "Custom" bracket to hold the Pod Filter in place.
I raided my local hardware store and my own shed to see what brackets and pieces of metal/alluminium I had lying around which could possibly be used.
In the end, I had an almost perfect bracket lying in my shed.
It needed a bit more bend here, less bend there, longer bolt here - but essentially unchanged.
Oh, and what was it before it became my Pod Filter bracket?
It was a child's bike training wheel bracket.

So how does the car sound now? Nice induction roar? :DSound at idle is a nice sucking air sound.
Sound under load is a sweet deep roar. Didn't think it would change the note as much as it did. When I get around to enclosing the pod in a box of some sort, it'll be interesting to see the difference again.
