So I finally got around to putting my slotted rotors and new brake pads in today.
3 1/2 hours later there all in and even though I have General CT's (no need for bed in apparently) I bedded them in any way, the proper way.
After a bit of bedding them in, they started to feel better.
Ok their all good I'm going for a drive.
Drove about 50km's to where I wanted to go, was there for a bit then drove home.
On the way home the rear ones started to make a horrible noise, like the slots where hitting the pad (gently that is) So I put my foot on the brake and that made it worse.
I called up a friend who owns a race car and asked him what the go was, he said "drive around a bit with the handbrake on alittle bit and see if that works" and you know what F me if it made a difference.
The only thing i could think of is that the titanium bedding in stripe has not worn off on the rear pads.
So the question is "WTF is going on with my rear pads, discs"
One more thing, I'll slap anyone who says you didn't need slotted disc's.
