Not quite sure how to describe this but on the Verada that is coming in two days. The indicator stalk is slightly pedantic...It makes a buzzing noise (loose fuse kinda sound) when you flick the indicator up or down. You need to push it down/up slightly more than normal to make sure the indicator goes on. The owner presumes it's a loose fuse, and it does sound like it, but does this sound logical or does it sound like something more major?
It doesn't seem like anything major but the buzzing noise it makes will get definitely get annoying!

Fetch yourself a new indicator stalk assembly... Won't be too much, all it sounds like to me is a buggered catch on the bottom of the stalk failing to engage, which probably houses a contact point, so buzzing is heard from the current passing through it... That's what my brain tells me anyway.

yep it will get worse so bargain the price. i think there like 300 new cause of the fog light.

My Magna has the same issue but it doesn't do it all the time and its only when I indicate left. It only does it if you 'hold' the stalk to make it flash and not when its fully engaged. Scared the crap out of me 1st time I heard cause it sounds like something shorting out but I've been too lazy to fix it as it only does it occasionally and hasn't gotten worst in the 5 years I've had the car.

I get the same thing on mine now and then... it's just a loose contact that makes the indicator relay/bi-metal go nuts - it's not a good thing lol

Gotten mine free. I tried so hard to clean the contacts, change the relay repeater. but it did not help much. Manage to get a replacement from a friend and it was all smooth again.
Wished it was better designed not to make the stupid noise.

Hmmmhh, my 96 TE has same buzz, but only when right-blinking, hence I knew it wouldn't be the relay. Might do a clean one day....
300 bux? Geeesshhh!!!!!!

ok, so it looks like i may have stuffed this up....i can't get the left indicator light to turn off, and turning the steering wheel won't reset it back to off again. Nor can I get the indicator stalk to go up, it'll go down but that won't change which way the indicator is going.
Any ideas, afaik i unassembled and reassembled it correctly although it seems i may have been wrong.

The CLEANING is not working everytime so AS much as I tried to clean the contacts, it still buzz. Solution is easier to grab a new stalk. I am glad I got mine free. I can pass anyone my spoiled one if they want to knock themselves out cleaning.

Update: I managed to clean it out a bit, seemed to have helped actually...it only buzzed about 1 in 5 indicates. Finally put it back together properly, it seems that the white square protruding part in the upper casing is a reset for the indicator.
I'll give it another go later if it comes back again, was just mainly concerned on getting it to work right now. :)
