Guys,

I have been looking for options to convert my TJ advance 03 to LPG, specially after Govt subsidies of $3k in WA.lol Got a couple of quotes- one from from auto edge, Midland for a venturi vapour injection system (sprint kits) for $3465 fitted. Advantages are : only 465 out of my pocket and auto edge is known for their good works. Disadvantages : Potential of backfire with vapour injection, gotta maintain ignition system absolutely spot on. Auto edge is asking $5465 for a SGI system, what a joke!!!

Other quote is from ecoemission, malaga for Sequential Gas Injection for $4200/= (EcoGas kits). Advantages: SGI, no worries of backfire and higher efficiency. Disadvantages: dont know much about the quality of their works, $1200 out of my pocket  They say that they are expert in SGI system and have got a nice website.

Both come with 2 yrs warranty. Also dont wana spend $4500 for an impco venturi system.

Mates- Whats your advice/preference?

I have never had a backfire in my converter style Parnell kit in my TL....

Been spot on from the beginning.

Plus i paid nothing for the conversion....$3k covered the total price...Thanks to a mate...

You do loose a bit of grunt with the vacuum system but i don't drive the car to hard....

And $32 for 430kms running is preety good going...
