Hey, i think there is a few members on here that have changed there wheels with Ford Ba Rims (17inch ones).

I've found a nice set of 4 that i am intersted in, but my Question is apart from the offset on them making the front stick out a little bit, when ur on maximum lock turning do they rub on anything on the car??

Thanks,
Regards Ben

I never had any problems with my 18's off an xr8, and i had my car on lows too!

i run r34 skyline wheels which i think have a very similar offset to falcon rims (they sit out wider than the stock ones atleast) and they don't scrub at all.

I think the 17" x 7" Ford rims fit okay but the 18" x 8" rims stick out past the front guards.

I had 17x8 series 1 BA xr6 rims on my car, didn't stick out and no fouling on the car. Looked good too :).

so is that to say that rims from an E-series falcon will fit on a magna and vice versa?

im getting rid of my magna, looking at getting an EL falcon but would like to transfer the 16 inch alloys with brand new tires from the magna onto the EL and putting the ****ty radials on the magna before selling :)

Negative... E series rims won't fit a Magna... AU onwards only.

by hub adaptors i presume you mean spacers?

yeah, dont want one and a half tonnes only attached to the road by a bunch of little metal spheres :P

tis a bummer coz i had a nice EL falcon GLi lined up for a great price but if i sell my magna i wont be getting the cost of the new tires back :(

Well you already know they work fine, as mentioned in every other post, but personally I think they look terrible on Magna's.

At least the series 1 wheels didn't really look that good on the 3rd gens anyway (sorry M4DDOG!)

I'd like to see your explanation to why they are legal....I'm sure RTA/Vicroads, DOTARS, etc. would also like to hear your explanation....

Hub adaptors for E series falcons are legal (so you can fit AU onwards rims to them) AFAIK. Tim is right for once :P

Hub adapters are fine, it's spacers that are illegal.

See i think those Steelies look alright on a second gen... but not a third gen. Third gens are just too classy... Also Mitsi boi, where'd u get em?
