Hey everyone new to the site and glad to see other 380's on here, Ive got a 2005 380vrx it's a manual with sunroof. So far it has Lowerd pedders springs, 19" wheels, sports muffler and k & n panel filter. I wouldnt mind chasing some cai and headers for it but not many companies have performance parts for these cars? can anyone help me out?
Ive already tried rpw and hm headers but no luck:nuts:

Another 380 is always good news - welcome. I've taken the liberty of putting up a pic of your car taken from the 'Post your ride' thread and must say it looks pretty hot. How do you find the ride quality after lowering & are you happy with the K & N?

I must say ride on 17's and stock sprigs was really nice and forgiving but handling was crap, still rides ok with pedders springs and 19'' though, just a little firmer but well worth it because it has more direct steering, The k & n is ok, not huge difference but rev's and little better and fuel economy is a tad better as well. Have you seen the stocko? It's a thick bit of cardboard! Very restrictive...
I will put some more pics up soon...

Mine gets lowered in about a week but I'm only going 30mm so hopefully wont firm up too much.
Regarding the K & N, you just made up my mind for me - I will order one now. And for the info of others, what type of muffler did you go for & is it noisy, drone etc?

Welcome and great to see another VRX and manual!
Good to see you're already most of the way down the lite mods track.
RPW (mitsiman) has posted here that headers are now available but they want to test them on a guinea pig in WA first to make sure there are no false ECU warnings (happens a lot with other late model makes as well).
Whereabouts in QLD?

looks good on those rims. can i suggest painting your grill black to match the rims and headlights, it would tie it in together very nicely

Looking very nice, should look really good when it's lowered.
The 380 is just begging for some aggressive flares (like on a ve). Can't wait til i can get my hands on one and make some modifications  .

Hi Mate,
As for the CAI, the Aussie 380 models have the air intake from a 4cyl model.
You can bolt on the intake from a NZ model and gain a few kW.

Hope it helps.

Cool, I'm at Carindale.
I'd hold back on that chip as yet. I'm looking for tuning on my car and have been told a couple of different stories so far about
1. whether they can be tuned outside the Mitsu ECU at the present time, and
2. Is it worth it for lite mods at all.
I'm seeing Sport's tuner Thurs week and hoping he can solve the puzzle.
