hey guys,
need a little advice, when the car is rolling, its making a noise like somethinge is dry, no extra oil or anything on the mags, no vibrations in the steering wheel, can feel a little bit of thumping inthe floor. Can anyone help me. the only that has changed lately is that it got lowered some more.
advice?
thanx mike

Mite even be a wheel rubbing somewhere.
Take em off and have a good look at the wheels and around the wheel area for signs of rubbing. :)

no signs of rubbing when the tyres are stright, i kno for sure when i turn the wheels they rub at a certain degree, but this noise is whilst I am going straight, and happens at all speeds, i think!!!
any other ideas
Mike
Edit: checked the exhaust no rubbing of any sought

I had a broken engine mount a month or two ago, and got that fixed, the car is lowered on stage 2 sports coils on the front and stage 1 on the back, im not sure but i think that is around 45 mm at the front. the noise is happening on the dead flat as well, so cant be bumps. can you see why I am stumped on this.

is it coming from the back or front. if back, could be the old handbrake dragging a little bit problem.

YES...make sure your handbrake isnt too tight- I had this huge noise in my car when I tightened mine a little bit too much...except mine shook...

dunno if its the same but when my car was lowered it made a terrible noise from the front, it was a wheel not tightened up properly, very nice

Another idea, is it low brake pads in the front? When they get low they can make a horrible scraping noise on the discs.

got them changed a few months ago, and it doesnt make the noise whilst the brakes are on. i think everyone including myself is running out of ideas. lol. if anyone is going on the cruise on sunday from WA, and has any ideas if the car is making the noise ill take you for a drive.

dude sounds like a loose wheel to me read what i said before it only made the noise when the car was rolling but not under acceleration or braking sounds very similar

I checked the wheels they are not loose, could this be linked to my other problem or would this be seperate.
