Hi guys,
Just wondering whether the Ralliart Grille would fit on a TJ VRX without any modifications to the front bar? I prefer the mesh look to the Verada grille.
Thanks in advance

Yes, as far as I know it's simply a straight swap... No mess, no fuss so to speak.

yeah it'll fit fine, but good luck finding one! I asked Mitsubishi how much it'd cost for a brand new one... they said something like $500. So that's why i'm holding back lol

Holy crap! I thought the Verada grill was only $180 new... if so, why would the Ralliart be 3x the price?
I was actually considering a Ralliart grill for my VR-X too, but for $500 I think I'll pass.

Yes $500 brand new from mitsubishi, and don't expect much change from $400 2nd hand!.
It would be far cheaper to simply modify your existing grille to have mesh, you could get it to look like a ralliart grille to within 90% for around $50, definitely a good trade off if you ask me.

i made my own ralliart grille from my stock one and it was easy to do didnt take long. Now its sitting out the back as i have a new front bar and the grille didnt suit it so i got a verada one.

$500!! Holy crap.
Before reading this I was just outside looking at my grille and considering painting it or modding it somehow. Now that I know it costs 5 hundy to replace, I reckon I'll just leave it alone before I accidentally stuff it!

do you have any close-up pics of what your modded grille looks like?? i'm considering modding my stock grille, but not exactly sure which way will look best..

You're definitely better off buying a standard TJ grille and modifying that.

I can see that you haven't cut away at the stock grille, so you've just put the mesh over the front yeah? how have you attached the mesh? Looks nice :)

yeah i have just put it over the top. i wanted to do that first before i butchered the grill incase i didnt like the look.
i could have probably used a better way to attach it but all i did was get some loctite 406 and glue the mesh onto the existing grill. took a while and very messy.
