hey all
just a bit of a noobish question i am sure - but there are no stupid questions, only stupid ppl! lol
anyhow
on my KL rada, it had the premo headunit
on the dash i have little carpeted circles, about 4inches in diameter at max - that look like they would be the right size for dash speakers.
one each side of the car, right up the top of the dash near in position to the A pillars. (i would take a picture, but my phone and camera are playing up right now :S)
look really out of place to be honest.
if i put my hand over them, i CANT feel any speaker movement / sound etc BUT - the sound quality in the cabin drops somewhat - it feels like the sound has lost a little treble balance to it?
i hope that makes sence as to what im talkking about?
i know the door panel has the tweaters in it - and i know that they are working well.
also on a side note - for (still - dont shoot me!!!) STOCK speakers, they go friggin hard!
i can push the volume on my alpine headunit quite high and they take a LOT to distort the sound! personally, i love the vibrating rear view mirror when i got it turned up that high... lol)
cheers
