hey all

just a bit of a noobish question i am sure - but there are no stupid questions, only stupid ppl! lol
anyhow

on my KL rada, it had the premo headunit
on the dash i have little carpeted circles, about 4inches in diameter at max - that look like they would be the right size for dash speakers.
one each side of the car, right up the top of the dash near in position to the A pillars. (i would take a picture, but my phone and camera are playing up right now :S)
look really out of place to be honest.

if i put my hand over them, i CANT feel any speaker movement / sound etc BUT - the sound quality in the cabin drops somewhat - it feels like the sound has lost a little treble balance to it?

i hope that makes sence as to what im talkking about?

i know the door panel has the tweaters in it - and i know that they are working well.

also on a side note - for (still - dont shoot me!!!) STOCK speakers, they go friggin hard!
i can push the volume on my alpine headunit quite high and they take a LOT to distort the sound! personally, i love the vibrating rear view mirror when i got it turned up that high... lol)

cheers

afaik (tho i still havent checked) those are used for mids in veradas (i think mine should have them, but as i said i havent bothered yet lol).
chances are you dont have anything in there :)

and yeah stock speakers seem to go fairly well when you replace the stock HU (the weak point in all 3rd gens besides ralliarts)

hey champ yep all veradas have that there is no tweeter there as its in the delta thingo (i think thats what its called) near your outside mirror,i think im not too sure but the base models or the earlier models had speakers in the top of the dash where the carpet bit is.
