I know this is a car audio section, but I don't care... :P
Anyway, I am after a good set of head phones, looking to spend about $100.
I used to have some called "Pro 2" and they were awesome but I can't find them anywhere now.
Cheers, Evan.

what are you planning to mainly use the headphones for?
computer or portable music player or something completely different?
mainly for music or for gaming?

TDK's are pretty good. So are Altec Lansing.
Spend some money, get some Sennheiser's, never look back :D .

Just FYI, Sennheiser's can be repaired quite easily, and some of the new ones can even be rebuilt. My HD555's can actually get replacement diaphrams, replacement pads, replacement cord. All you need is the shell, and viola

Please do! HD-555's are completely awesome. I can't believe how much I wanted these headphones, and how awesome they were once I got them. You know how when you want something a whole lot, and when you get it, it sucks? This was the complete opposite. Abso-****ing-lutely awesome. These headphones are almost better then a set of Z5500. And the HD-600's would be far better.

I couldn't recommend a specific brand or model, but check out www.headphones.com.au. The owner has an incredible knowledge of headphones too, so if you email him with your budget and what you want, he could make a recommendation. He's a regular on the Overclockers Australia forums, and seems to have a lot of satisfied customers :)
Sennheiser..pfft, what you need is a set of Shure in-ear monitors. Get the E5. I was going to get the E3s for listening on my iPod, but they didn't have any in stock, so had to get the E2c :( Not the best, but neither is the DAC on the iPods. Hopeless soundquality.
ANyways, yeah, what did you need headphones for? Specific sizes? needs? etc

Yeah, soo not worth it, for an iPod since sound quality sucks dicck. Yeah, Etymotics, Shure, Bose, Sennnheiser..can't go wrong with them. I lean more towards studio/monitor ones...Korg, AKG? etc
