The other day i put a new stero in my magna (TF solara 4sp auto) and had the battery disconnected for a while while i did it. After that my fanbelt came loose so i rung the nrma and they tightened it for me. Now though when ever i stop while in gear(L 2 3 D) my car stalls. I think the computer in the transmission might of reset itself but im not sure. Any suggestions on how to fix it or should i take it to the mechanic.

check the fuses in the engine bay fusebox, esp the 2 in the yellow isolator.... and providing there is nothing else mechanically wrong just keep driving and it will be fine after a little while...


magnas would have to be the most stupid cars out there for this!


do a breif search and you'll see this question has been asked a million times....

i **** myself when i fist d/c the battery to put in my stereo and had never heard of the computer needing some time to re adjust :nuts:

thanks dude it's fine now i had drove around for 1/2 hour but it kept stalling so i didn't no whether the fan belt had something to do with it. Started it up again went for a cruise and it's sweet
