Ok well basically just wondering what a new exhaust tip will do for my car. The only reason why i want one is just to get a nicer sounding car and maybe a little bit better performance or acceleration or something like that. Dont really want to spend much on one. Prob like $50 bucks for one and then the cost of fitting cause im guessing that it needs to be welded. Had a look on ebay for one and just wondering.

Would something like this give me what im looking for? Any help on the matter would be helpful cause i dont really know much about this type of stuff. Would this be way to loud and require a restrictor as well? And also what be the rough cost to fit this?
The cars a 94" Magna advance as well.
Thanks

Ummmmm..................
Hate to break this to you but from what Ive heard you get a tinny exhaust note from those Ebay tips and no performance gains at all.

I went down to the local exhaust shop and asked for a semi-straight through exhaust, which gave me a nice deep sound with little drone. I asked for dual chrome tip which looks nice too. nothing too crazy. In my opinion, the exhaust pipes that point up/down are ugly, but thats up to personal opinion.
this is what mine looks like:

yan89: How much did it cost you for that? and how much was the cost to put it on? I'm not looking for something thats really loud and everyones gonna turn around and look just something to give it a nice sound
thanks

Why don't you ring up some exhaust shops?
I used to have a 4" Oval tip on mine and that looked pretty good.
Prices vary, Also look for something like a redback muffler (got two of em on). Paid $100 for each muffler.

ditto. paid $100 for the muffler and $80 for the tip. fitted and all, so not a bad deal. and it just gives it a sporty sound, not a deep bark like cannons do.
