in my search for a new h/u now that i have decided to keep the magna, i want another 2 din DVD h/u

been looking at all thats around

i had the pioneer and it was awesome loved the 6 dvd in dash stacker, and i might get another, now that they can be had for $1300

the new jvu looks the goods for $1100 although you can get it for $900 ;)

then there is the eclipse not sure on the model number i think it's the avn6600.... but anyway when i last looked it was approx $3500 although with the strong aussie $$ atm i have found some through us sellers that delivered to aus 3-5 days they tell me, will cost around the $1300usd mark! sounds tempting and the price is pretty good....

but is there anywhere here in aus that they can be had for reasonable $$$

I picked up an AVN6610 from the US for about $2k AUD (including the iPod adapter).

it's got a bigger screen (7" opposed to 6.5") and a few extra features over the 6600.

unfortunately you need to buy an Australian map dvd ($400) and then hack it to get the sat nav to work.

Check the price on the Eclipse AVN unit again, I believe the RRP for them has dropped considerably in the past month!!
