2.6 EFI TS

Just reading in my Gregorys...

Some types of timing lights are not compatible with this type of electronic ignition & may result in incorrect readings
I have an old(er) style light here - pre elec ignition & on-board computers, do I need to get a more modern type...if so, what brand/type is recommended please?

I am still using the pickup type that

clips on to the battery for the light

and a clip pickup over the number one lead

no problems

the lightbulb could be brighter ... it is hard to pick up the timing mark sometimes

As for the brightness of the light, you must have the same as me, I'm getting onto 50 now & ALL lights have gotten dimmer :bowrofl:

you can even use the old style lights on cars like skylines that don't run distributers. you just have to know how.
