I need to buy an adapter to connect an air compressor hose to my spark plug hole.
I borrowed one and it is the wrong size. The cam bearing caps and rocker shafts are all out of the car and no adapter. I thought valve stem seal change would be half done by now.
I have tried the local Autobarn, Bursons, Repco and an engineering supply co.
Yes, I could make one but would prefer to buy.
Where have other people bought them?
I'm in Eltham, Melbourne but am prepared to drive around the suburbs.

I think I have found one.
I borrowed this one from my son and have just got off the phone to him. He has looked in his workshop and found another that seems to be the right size. Am going there now.
will post the result here when I return.
many thanks Buffy.

Yes.
I have it here now. It is a 14 mm thread. The other was an 18 mm thread. Both bought from Repco so I don't know what was wrong with the idiot who served me!!!
Thank you.

Car is back together and running well.
No blue smoke on startup after being left overnight or on revving after idling for 5 minutes.
Well worth doing.
It is a fiddly job that I would advise to expect it to take 2 days but it would be wise to allow 3.
My chief concern was to be sure the split collets were correctly in place so as to not drop a valve when doing 100 km/hr on the freeway.
Bit hard on the back and the back of the legs but that is probably my age showing.
