No, it faces the wrong way for the gearbox to connect

Too fast.

The GTO is mounted with the gearbox connecting to the left (I thinK) while the Magna connects to the right.

think you would be meaning an fto in that case... its motor would make your car slower.

there's a gto motor in my engine bay (2nd gen) and thats the only orientation the gto used.

Nah im with ya there tuffy, to ricey for me, but the 6A13TT should make that kit a little more appealing, especially with a massive FMIC popping out the front!!

Theres DOHC Engines about 5 mins away from me. Wants $500 a pop (Yes you heard right) but they dont have a wiring loom....or something along those lines

Can i use the loom from the SOHC? Also, i'd need to strengthen the gear box, cos it's a six cyl right? Hmm... this looks like an expensive venture.

There was a 3rd gen wagon flying around with one in it, someone on here actually spoke to the owner one day cant remeber who it was.

But i was also told that a new gearbox is required, so im not sure what the hell they did but it was done none the less.

Anything can be done with enough time and money, ie rear wheel drive, v8, suiside doors, etc:badgrin:

Yeah what ever happened to Hayden?

He also had 20's and Evo brembos.. Last time I talked to him (cruise to murwilambah) he had the 6A on the boat coming down..

He didn't import a working AWD for those of you at home, he imported the front and rear cuts and installed the gear into a TE or something he had lying around.. 20's on a magna with stock suspension.. The term 'Rock Hopper' comes to mind..

why would u spend that much on a car when u could take that, sell your car and buy something better and faster...ok uniqueness is a factor....but if u wanna be unique - u dont have to remortgage your house to do it.

why dont you import the 6g72TT Mivec DOHC engine, out of a 3000GT much easier, as it is the same engine basically. still the 3.0L engine as the magna, but just with different compression ratios, and a DOHC MIVEC head on it, with ofcourse twin turbo. or just get a set of the turbo exhaust manifolds, off it and bolt it onto your engine, with 2 turbos, you should be able to run 5 or 6PSI with no problems, with stock internals.
and i see that your are running an aftermarket ECU, you should be able to connect up a duel throttlebody on the left side of the intake manifold, as the stock ECU's cant run two MAF sensors

Ring up import wreckers man

By the way Arn't all 3000GT's motor's orientated for a 2nd gen.
i.e. the 6G72TT DOHC will fit in a 2nd gen

Just did a google search, all of them are orientated for a 2nd gen...

Wont happen dude. To much money to be spent there.

Dont bother turboing, supercharging or N/A work, no point, just buy a car that's already got the potential and aftermarket goods cheaply.
