I got some little chunks of tar on my mags and I was wondering whats a good product that will get this off while not damaging the chrome.

Thanks in advance

... use a solvent, petrol works, so does turps. Wash it off with whatever stuff you use to wash your car when you're done.

Neat kerosene on a soft cloth does the trick too. Also works at getting tar off your floormats (just wash them with woolmix afterwards to get the kerro out and generally clean them).

Go to a detailer or panel shop and get some Prepsol. It wont damage your chrome either.

Or otherwise known as Wax and grease remover. Available from supercheap for like $13 for a 1L bottle
