hey i was having a look on www.carmate.com @ bodykits now i'm not a huge fan of kits on a magna unless they come out with them stock but what are your opinions on a full JN Style kit minus the wing and maybe bonet scoop, installed onto a white TH Magna ??
(also i cant post the pic's because it wont let me right click on the images)

ps somewhere along the line the kit was crap and needed money spent for prep work... so take that into account

his was brand new from carmate as well...
i think the kit was just poorly made, and the company here in Perth had to spend time fixing it all up, repairing hairline cracks etc. so they may be making better kits these days, they may not...
Tbutcher/Hayden had a 180sx trial front bar modified to fit the front of his TH.. I think most pics of that are LONG gone now but it looked pretty good.

i got my kit from carmate to the same 1 also the scoop... but i made some changes to it ... and the kit comes in very bad condition .. i fitted my kit by myself and it was a pain... but the only thing i have problems wit bcoz the front bar comes out from the wheels to much ... every time i go over a ramp or speed hump it scrapes the front kit unless i go over on a angle .. and my car isnt even lowered

I bought a CRAPMATE kit and thats exactly what it was, i believe they are made in china, the quality and fit was terrible, after finally finding a panel shop to paint and fit the kit it did not get better with time. Fifteen months later i had to take the kit off to sell the car. Expensive lesson.

i recently just got the same front bar but for the 03 tj magna and it took a whole of 1 hour to get it to fit perfect. Then a couple of days of sanding and painting i had no problems at all with these. But i got the front bar only im not really keen on the rest of the kit

personally not a fan, i find the JVM bar is a much nicer and subtle look but that is just my taste. Some people on here have pulled it off very well thats for sure
