Hi Guyz,
I am only new to this forum but i wanted to join so i could post and ask questions to you guys about my 1993 TR Magna.

My Magna was going great my mate is a mechanic with a great set up in his backyard massive shed (bigger then the house!) every tool, you can imagine plus a Hoist which makes things a lot easier. I was given the car from a mate because it didnt work but a few weekends later with a timing chain change and transmission we got it working great! This was done about this time last year.

Recently I lent the car to a mate because he needed to get to a few Job Interviews, it was a very Hot day and well the Radiator cracked and leaked fluid and well to cut a long story short he overheated the engine. I havn't yet seen the car since it's on the other side of the city but i fear the engine has siezed.

I believe ill probably have to get a new engine for it, and i was thinking probably doing a manual conversion on it while im working on it.

I just wanted to post if you guyz have any suggestions on what i should do please reply.

best use of money is probably to buy a new car altogether. was it a 4 or a 6?

he said timing chain so i think its a 4 banger :D

if with Big 4cly on this as well, sell and i you can pick up V6s for a out $1000-$2000, quite cheap.

and then start from there

go for a new car man you'll be much better off
have a browse and i guarantee you'll find a ks ei verada for around $1500. the verada's are v6 and have power windows, the parabolic headlights, and climate control.
you need something with power windows at least

Thanks Guyz i'll look into it. I'm keen on meeting up for a road trip at one stage.

If i wanted to see my car the way it is (i.e) no engine what price could i list it for? i really have no idea..

The manuals drive great! You'll love it. Watch out for oil leaks though. Don't be fooled by a squeaky clean engine bay.
