Does anybody Know what color the oxygen sensor wire is?
And where it comes into the interior?
Im sick of a useless gauge so i think its time to hookit up.
Did a search but found nothing and the user manual is just pages upon pages of nothing :(

On 3rd Gens it comes up thru the floor right below your CD player, theres a little round grommet and a plug with about 2-3 wires that plugs into a clip right near the ECU.

I cant imagine the 2nd gens would be much different.

If you pull the carpet away from the console in the passenger footwell, there is a metal plate on 3rd gens held in with 2-3 screws, remove this and youll see the plug im talking about. This is on 3rd Gen but 2nd-3rd Gen seem to be quite similar.

Hope it helps you out.

The wire comes up in the passengers side foot well, near the back of the CD player, it's a 4 pin connector.

Search the forums for it.

There is a photo. remember thats in a Diamante from the US so those foot pedals wont be there.

1 is signal with return the chassis
2 a signal and ground for better isolation from ground diffferentials
3 1 signal and 2 heater
4 1 signal 1 ground and 2 heater.

Signal = black
ground = grey
2 heater = white

Turn the car on, two of the wires will be an earth, and the other will have 12V+ on it. The other wite will have between 0-1V+, thats the signal wire.

orighty, well i did a test hook up.
Hooked it up to the yellow wire coming out and well the gauge sort of just sweeps left to right, mainly stoich, sometimes in the tad rich range.

Does it sweep or is this supposed to fluctuate really fast?
I tested that one and it read something like .53V, .60V, .63V, .60V etc etc

it would be sweeping, but the device your using to read the signal would only read the current every tenth of a second or so
