Hi,
My window winder mechanism on drivers side door just broke. I read on here somewhere, that someone put the doors skins in from a model with power windows, although I dont think they had a TE.
So, I was just wondering if it is possible to grab a set of second hand door skins with power windows and set it up? Does the TE have the head unit [or whate ver its called] whether it has power windows or not?
I found a generic version on ebay for $199 for 2 doors, and some Italian made ones for $270 [on special last one left]
I am pretty comfortable doing most electrical work, just not sure what I need here, and was hoping to put it in this weekend when doing my new carputer.
Oh, yeah, and how much of a bastard0 of a job is it?
Any advice would be appreciated,
any advice but DO ANOTHER SEARCH! << doing that now.
Thanx guys, have already been bathing in this well of knowledge.
Will be posting pics of carputer when done!

edit: Found it!!!
Seems my thoughts werent to far off, just get it all from wreckers.
