I have a TF with the remote locking control from mitsubishi.....
I want to replace the battery but how in hell does it come apart???
According to user manual it has a small screw to undo
Anyway ive got 2 of them and they do NOT have a screw and i have tried to prise apart with knife but no bloody luck
Any suggestions?

If TF same as TH then just pry it apart baby. Don't snap any internals and remember to search the forums for how to reprogram once u've replaced battery

been trying to pry apart but with no luck
been trying with a butter knife and screw driver but just mangling the bloody thing
Its as though its been superglued together

I just read the TF user manual and it has 3 types of remotes
first 2 are throw away when battery goes dead....
It says go to mitsubishi and get new remote

I know same thing happened to me. $75 bucks later i had the new remote.

Have a look on eBay, I picked up a brand new remote for my KH for $51 delivered. My car didn't come with any remotes so I picked one up and it's great! Not a bad price I thought either.

Compared to the f***in $130 for an extra key from Mitsu, it was a bargain :rant:
