i know that it has been discused before but, and ive done a search, but no one has really said, that they have one installed and are happy with it. found a cheap one on ebay, used with a grounding kit, might do some good. any one want to object on this?
makes power windows go up a bit quicker and whatnot. dont expect to feel any performance gains or anything from it. car starts quicker and idle is a bit smoother.
personally im happy with the benefits for such a small price, but a lot of people buy them expecting the wrong results and get disappointed.

I read an article in a mag a few weeks ago where they used a grounding kit and got a few extra Kw, then added a voltage staiblizer and played around with different earth points and ended up with 10 extra Kw ant the front wheels on a late model manual VRX...

Please state which mag it was, I would LOVE to see the article. Im in need of a good laugh. Seriously, there is no way you can get an extra 10kw at the wheels from a standard VRX with playing around with the electricals unless there is something serisously wrong with the car.

Not 100% correct, Barrys Earthing Kit does a great job on the 3rd Gen V6's. But I dont see any power difference and if there is it definitely isnt 10kW ATW lol
Barrys Kit corrects sloppy ignition timing among other things.

Make your own.
Just for interest sake, I have 3x 16mm^2 cables for my earthing.
If it made/makes any difference at all, why wouldn't manufacturers do it for the sake of an extra earth strap or two?
Making sure your current earths are all in good condition and have good bonds is more important than the amount of them. Quality over quantity if you will.
Remember guys, the only time there is any need for big cables is when the motor is cranking. The rest of the time there is lucky to be 1 or 2 amps of complete current, and it is all the headlights and electronic clutches on aircons and solenoids.
It is pure fiction basically, just clean up your current earths and make sure they are bonded well to the chassis/engine/battery.

yeah one of them will help to move the car faster through the air.
wasnt it ment to do something with the cars 'molicules' to allow it to slip thru faster?
personally, im too young to know the details - but that signature on the front/top is now worth a little bit more...

basicly the polorizer (sp) worked on elctrons passing through magnets suspended in crystals in order to harmonise the molecules of the car and motor. basicly scientology for cars. lol can get teh exact details later as i got a book on brocky.
and oh yeah i'm young lol

I made a DIY earthing kit and noticed the gains mainly on startup, quiker to fire and run smooth.
Initial throttle response improved aswel.... maybe just in my head?

Im quite shocked this was published in a magazine. I still cant believe those numbers were valid, but to kill that burning curiousity and hope, can someone please try them an dpost their results ;)

Id love to test one of these but ive got bigger fish to fry first,
I spoke to my boss at work today and he said one of these kits could quite possibly give good results, because the better and more earth points you have the more efficently the power can flow the more efficently the motor will run due to a better spark etc and this creats a better, more efficent burn which will result in more power and better fuel econmy, however to get thoes sorts of gains the vehicle may not have had the best earting system to begin with or it may have had falts, but that said it is quit possible to get these sorts of results
