hey guys, since saturday ive been having a lil trouble starting the car.

it starts just fine but after turning the key to ignition it cranks twice or three times longer than normal and then starts. seems to be gettin longer too and im gettin a lil worried  is this a battery issue?

cheers, tim

How old is your battery??? Batteries usually die around 3-4 years on an average quality one, less if you have let it go flat a few times. You might find that one cold morning after the car has been started for a couple of days it wont be able to crank over, probably just keep goin to it dies, or replace it if you dont like the idea of beign stranded when you need it the least. If you battery is fairly new, could be a problem with the engine, or you might have something that is draining the battery while it is off, like a light or some new accessory?
