You need to remove the whole door trim, there are screws on the back that hold it in.

As for the handle, you can take teh surround off without removing the door trim, not sure how easy it would be to remove the handle part without removing it though.

on the front doors there are 3 screws. one in the air vent at the front, one behind the handle and one in the bottom of the little "cups" hidden by a pop out panel.
on the rear doors there are just 2, behind the handle and in the cup.
wind down the windows (makes it much easier to remove and replace!), pop the screws out and apply firm even pressure to release the plastic pops holding the trim on. then it should pull away a bit, and you can lift them off.
you'll have to take the little cups off the panel before you can get the inserts off.
good luck

huh? what's wrong? I'm confused .
If he wants to remove the inserts, he needs to remove the door trims, the inserts are held in by screws at the back. You can remove the handle surround without removing the door trim, just not sure about the actual handle part of it.
