Im sure there was a post about this but I havent been able to find it skimming through ...

Has anyone hacked their console up and installed a headunit where the ashtray/lighter is?

If so is it hard to do?

Id like to install my lcd screen in the double din area but will need to move the headunit so its still usable.

Any ideas etc would be good.

have a look at hamish2 car, he has has screen down near the cigerette lighter, and the cd player in the normal place, i know this is the opposite of what you wanted, thought it could still work for you. hope this helps

Hehehe, my headunit is sitting in there at the moment supported by foam blocks. Looks awful. :redface:
