A piggyback ECU is a piggyback ECU. They pretty much all have the same features and do the same thing. Your best bet is to look at either a Greddy Emanage or a Haltech interceptor as these two units have both been successfully installed and tuned in heaps of V6 magnas.
Your best option is to find a performance workshop that you trust, and then go with the piggyback ECU they use and recommend.

i seem to recall many threads on here about the E manage not being so easy to find someone to install and tune....
where as a UNI chip Haltech prettymuch everyone everywhere can instll and tune, personally i'd go the haltech interceptor
but there are others.... i still have a tuneable smt6 and at less cost/size weight than the others with the same and if not more features its a winner in my books, but tuners are few and far between (lucky for me he's 2 min away)
lastly steer clear of piggybacks with forced induction if you plan to go that way and make decent power whilst keeping your engine from popping.... see mitsimans posts on that one

i had good results with my unichip back in the day. It was a little older but a proven product and i scored around 12kw atw's with it and got some amazing quater mile times pre s/c.
i think by now the new unichip is/should be avaliable so it might be even better than the old one. expect to pay around the $1200-$1400 mark for most units fitted and tuned. Ive found if you buy one off ebay cheap, tuners charge you more for the install as they wont be making any money on selling you the unit themselves, after all they do have a business to run
