Ok, so i'm at a modding crossroad and i dont really know what to do next.
Things i want to do are;
Extractors
Fix front bumper which is cracked and peeling
Colour code sides
Tinting

Fixing the front bumper/ get extractors are higher up on the order but i was thinking that seeing i will have to get a new front bar i was considering getting a vrx one or maybe even the whole kit
What do you guys think i should do next?

This is a tough decision, personally i'd go with colour coding the side skirts, you can do this pretty easily yourself and wont cost you much, BUT!!!
If you are planning on getting a body kit then there really is no point doing this. If you need to replace the front bar, then yeh why not go for something after market. Tinting would be a good idea especially coming up to summer, thats top of my list at the moment too.

For me personally i'm leaving extractors/zorst system til last, i have a sports muffler so its not quiet, but my car is plenty quick enough to get me through until i've finished the cosmetics.

All comes down to what you want more, if it were me i'd go for the cheaper options first.

Tinting would be the go... I dont know what i'd do without it...Actually, i'd burn. White skin....

EDIT: then extractors....

The right headers would make the drive more enjoyable however being an auto, I'm not sure how much you'd notice it.

If you're thinking about a VRX front skirt and get a genuine article, then you might need to get the right front bar (TH+) to fit it to because your TF might not let it fit right.

Hmmmm looks like this is gonna be a hard choice.
Made me think more about tinting with summer coming up and all but i want to keep it legal so i don't know how much different 35% would be...
Yeah i know about the issue of the vrx add on's not fitting to the te/tf's bar but Ego has his whole bar up for sale at the moment.
Extractors... some say they make a difference, some say they don't as i've read through the thousands of threads there are about them. I'd be looking at the paccies but with a 3.0ltr and superlows i'd be concerned about scraping...
So i guess i'll just keep thinking

If i got the vrx front do you think it would look ok by itself?

Yeh wont look too bad, colour coded side skirts with it and would look alright.

go fast before look pretty

Unfortunatly, being a magna and all, making it look pretty is a hell of a lot cheaper then making it go fast. which is why most of us have "pretty" magnas

Don't listen to the nay-sayers. The right headers make the right difference.

That's a real concern for headers designed for the 3.5 fitted to the 3.0. I've got RPW's and they've copped a ding or three and I've only got poxy King lows.

Might look half done and as M4DDOG said, do the sideskirts.

I voted colour coding. It makes a car look a lot more schmick.

I disagree mate. Obviously the darker you go the better it'll look, but 35% still looks good. I've attached before and afters of my car. Side windows are 35%, but the tinter said he did the back window a shade darker cause it's so big. Not only that, but depending on the angle, it'll often look darker than the photos I've attached.

It's a very practical mod, looks good, and isn't that expensive.... I'd be doing it sooner rather than later.

Yeah well i think i'm gonna skip the idea of the whole vrx kit until later on.
The front bar car wait i think as i don't look at it much apart from photos :P
I mite go to a tinting place and see if i can compare the tints because sometimes it looks dark but then again sometimes i do notice it being fairly transparent.
Probably extractors after that unless i decide against the tint
And then colour coding.. unless i can do it myself for cheap :S

if your looking for tinting places, try protec window tinting (http://www.protecglasstint.com.au/) in osborne park and ask for yursee. got my windows tinted their two weeks ago and he did an excellent job at a very competitive price (thanks to tj02 for recomending (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34391&referrerid=7529) them)

+2 (sis ended up going there too), got quoted a very reasonable amount (about $250 or so) for 35% in metallic tint (means it will never discolour)...lifetime no bubble warranty, no discolour warranty etc..

tho turned out i already had factory 35% tint lol

he can put the sensor up to ur window to determine what exactly you have now

when you call, just say you've been recommended by the car club or something, and you'll get the above quote
