I've read the threads regarding the whole HID fiasco and actually making it work with a third gen. Anyway, most of these members have seem to have retrofitted a HID kit to the car. Just curious as to whether the JDM headlight assemblies are different to that of the ADM's? or
perhaps they have done some something crazy to make it work or something completely dodgy?

Any ideas/comments?

they fit safely, not going to harm anything except your pocket and someones eyes...

and from the lights i've seen on ebay they are exactly the same... JDM and ADM things like wiring and parkers may vary but they look close enough, even had the same part numbers on the last one i saw that was coming from japan

so i believe it would make no difference, all the Japs have them cos it's like type R stickers, they think it's cool...
