Just had 2002 Verada converted to LPG,am happy with the conversion with 1 exception in that the in dash gauge never seems to read actual levels when on LPG,anyone had same problem, what is the fix.
Cheers
Keith.

It takes a while for the car to get used to the gas, a few tankfuls and it should be fine.

No fix, it just doesn't read it correctly. the trip 'puter on my TL doesn't even register that i've used any fuel at all while driving on gas. On my TE the red light would come on 50ks after filling up, even tho I had 300ks left before it'd run out.

take it back to the gas fitter and get them to fit the right gauge sender .ull never get it exact but it shouldnt be far off.

Unfortunately they don't make LPG tank senders compatible with the 3rd en senders.....!!!
Wouldnt mind tracking down some sort of conversion circuit.....!!

Both senders are resistive dividers - a simple power op-amp circuit would work OK, the gain structure is different.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the conversion?
Sorry I can't be any help to the actual question, but have been considering converting for a bit
