A mate of mine has an auto TP and has just done something to the 'box. When it changes 2nd - 3rd it gets stuck in neutral.. not sure exactly what it is.

Anyway, his local mechanic said a re-co box is $1700 so with fitting he's looking at $2k to get back on the road.

Surely he can find a 2nd had box cheaper than this in Melbourne?

Anyone know?

tell him to give these guys a ring and ask about 2nd hand or reco boxes....they are pretty good they only do Gen1 and Gen2 Magnas so they should have them in stock.

Hope that helps.
