Ive got TS V6 magna and want to change my cv boots on right side.
How in hell does the shaft come away from the trans case????
I tried levering with screw driver but no good.
I read in another thread somebody saw them use long lever in an auto shop
Doesnt seem to be much to lever against as it slips off easy
Ive done left before but it comes from trans easy on left side!!!!!!

Ive read lots of cases people paying around $20 to 30 for 1 boot. I paid $10 trade at mitsubishi today

i had same issue, just keep trying at it. came out eventually. you need the right leverage. try different length thickness screwdrivers, till you get it. carfull not to tear the oil seal, or pull on the shaft as it will wreck it.

remove the boot clip

and the cv will come apart if you have the tie rod end and the two bolt off the suspension strut

circlip pliers to remove the bearing

clean and repack with molly grease
