I have done a search but I can't really find anything.
Is there anyway to make a KW/KL look like a KJ?
If so, whats involved?

basically the whole front end, including bonnet, front bar, headlights, grill and front wheel arch pannel. are all different, dont know if they would fit or not

Short of welding in a front cut no, as far as i know they are completely different at the front, the TL is a little bit longer, which means all the bumper mounts and the frame/panels are different. Would be far cheaper to buy a KJ.

was planning to go the other way TE Altera - TW VR-X But you have to change to radiator support panel ( Big Job ) and is the most important thing as every thing else hangs from it....
then both front panel's,head lights, reo bar, bumper, bonnet, wiring as it is bound to be different some where?
was going to cost me about $1000 just for the parts and then it had to be fitted.....
can be done just alot of work.......

yeah has been done, look at the streetmachine site for pics of mcbeths build, there are pics of the car in the nude with a TJ front, but then the TL was relaeased and he had to re style it!

well we cant really include mcbeths car as the only thing magna abut it was the body panels....
Also he had an unlimted budget and a parts bin to go though so he could do as he likes
and if you have a good look at the photo's you well see the rad support doesnt even look like ours it is just sheet metal hung over a tubular chassis and it started life as a TJ but as the build took so long it had to be changed to a TL/W as the new model had come out before it was finished
