Are they a drop in replacement for both woofer and tweeter? Where is the best place to mount the xover?

You can't fit them in without modification if thats what you're asking. The woofer will fit but you need to take some of the protective rubber on the magnet, hits the glass.
Tweeter will need a custom mount of some kind.
xover you can put whereever you want, inside the door trim seems popular.

Hey mate will the 6' response precision coaxials fit without issue?

Not sure haven't tried, but just check the magnet depth of them compared to the 6.5 splits and you should be right if it's shallower, i'd say being a 6" it should fit fine.

what you talking about man? the 6.5" fit in fine in my car.....
clearance issues on manual window models?
100% fine in a TJII using KE doortrims, not that the trim matters, its bolted to the white plastic thing.... still miles from the window glass.... might put some 12" subs in there... there is the room :P

Mine was hitting on the white plastic thing that stops your window falling out or in (cant remember which one) maybe electric use the motors to stop the glass?

From my experience both power windows and manual windows work the same way, just where one has a knob for you to turn the other has a motor.

magna power windows are operated by a cable thats driven by a motor, manual wheels are totally different and have a metal thingy with a cog kind of thing hard to explain, but noting alike at all

I have 6.5" jaycar response splits.
They go straight in, thought you need to drill holes in the plastic to screw them in.
Also you need to use a thin spacer, otherwise the back of the magnet can rub in the windows (I've got small scratches in my tint from this.).

How small a spacer? Can you get it from Jaycar?
You could just use self tappers instead of drilling couldn'tyou?

Yeah self tappers will go in easily into the plastic baffle, i wouldn't bolt them in as you would have to remove the baffle and everything attached to it, screw the self tappers in nice and tight without breaking anything and you should be fine!
I dunno about the spacers, some people have said they fit fine others have said minor scratches exc. If you have a 3rd gen I believe there is a big plastic thing (looks like a short pipe) which is attached to the interior door trim that channels the sound towards the passenger area (the stock speakers aren't mounted right on the trim they're about 3-6cms roughly behind the interior cover, so if you were to put a spacer you'd have to chop that plastic channel thing a bit shorter or you trim will not fit back on properly.
EDIT: Then again you could always take them out, and use spacers to bring them closer, or build out the baffle, or...just take them out, but you may lose a bit of volume and your door cavity might resonate a bit more.

mine fitted fine... screwed them straight to the plastic.... actually come to think of it i may have put some 3mm weather stripping around them to seal them.
tweeters i screwed to the circle ontop of the dash... dont put them there... they are way harsh... sounds like a harpie screaming in my ear.
cross-overs are mounted on a piece of mdf under drivers seat

Has anyone got the tweeters in the stock door sail mount or are they too big?
I have got them in the door sail mounts. I have used some velcro to stick em on. It sits fine and you can hardly see the velcro. But I will find out about the verada sail mounts as that looks a bit better. All in good time.
As far as the woofers go I have just screwed them into the plastic baffle without spacers.
But to fit it without spacers you have to take the rubber cap off from the magnet otherwise it will touch the white window plastic thingy. I dont think it does any harm to take the rubber cap off, unless somebody tells me otherwise...
The crossover filters I have mounted inside the doors next to the elbow rest, also with velcro.
Hmm what would I do without velcro... :P

From what i've read they won't fit in the verada tweeter door sails :(
velcro to you must be what cable ties are like to me. :)
It wont fit IN but it does fit ON. If you want to make it look schmick you have to order these: http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45557&page=1
But I need to find out if the jaycars fit in them. It looks like they will tho.
The Jaycars are 25mm which equates to 1inch.
But I would like to get this verified if possible.

Yep, those are what I would like to put them in.
Otherwise I'll just get some coaxials.

You probably could.
However, why would you?
Self tappers are meant for metal, not really for plastic.
They will come loose over time. Just drill, use proper screws - its not that much more work.
