I am having a serious issue with my 2000 Magna VRX. I installed a new HU and amps for my car and I am having some weird issues. When I turn the ignition on (Before the car starts) I can hear some clicking noises that weren't there before (Sounds like it is coming from the far right hand corner of the engine (When looking towards the front of the car), and once when I have tried to start it I turned the ignition, the lights dulled and the car didn't start. Afterwards I tried again and it worked. Then the next time I started it and almost straight away it died. What the hell is going on?
The other issue I am having is that the remote key won't lock/unlock the doors/boot and the boot/cabin lights won't turn on. Also, the trip computer just flashes the number 5.
Could this just be a fuse? What should I do?

yeah check the fuse in the engine bay in the yellow isolator
also read your manual on resetting the trip computer
basically press and hold the button to select sedan then engine type etc... search it's all been covered
seems as it's nothing major
and if you d/c the battery for any extended period the craputer will need to re learn hot to idle so it will stall when in d at a standstill, so just keep driving till it's all good

Is that the one that the one with 2 fuses surrounded by a piece of yellow plastic, or one of the ones with the clear yellow plastic covering it?

Also, it happened when in Park, not Drive if that's what you meant. Plus I don't think the battery was ever disconnected.

Ok, I can see the 15A one and it does appear that it might be blown, but I can't be sure. The other is fine though. But I don't know how to get it out because of that piece of yellow plastic so I can't be sure. Also, should I disconnect the battery before messing with that fuse?

I reset it, but when I turned it off, then back on, it flashes the S/5 again.
I have been searching the forums and it really does seem like that fuse. I can't quite see it, but it does look like it has blown. I don't have the balls to try and fix it myself, I'll just take it to the RACQ tomorrow and they'll do it probably for the cost of a new fuse.

Ok, found the blown fuse, replaced it and now everything is great again. Although if you can help me with my aircon issue on the Car Audio forum I'd appreciate it! :)
I am trying to find out what isn't connected properly, but to no avail and I don't want to take it to Mitsu because who knows what they'll charge me to fix it.
