Hey all,
First up i have a Ke Verada,
when i started the car up this morning, the temp gauge was reading halfway when the engine was stone cold.
did a bit more driving and then the gauge was reading hot hot, redline hot :(
top radiator hose was roasting and the lower hose was a little hotter than luke warm. so i figured it was the thermostat.
replaced the thermostat, tested the old one, yup the old one wasnt opening. filled the fluids back up started the car, went for a little hoon around the block, temp is reading redline again :(
but now, both lower and upper radiator hoses are very hot to touch, so atleast i know the new thermostat is working.
im thinking i may have a bung temp sensor.
does anyone know what the resistance of the temp sensor should be at cold? or any other ideas i should try?
Cheers,
Craig.
