I bought a TW magna last week and then noticed last nite that the SRS light came on, so this morning I took it to Mitsubishi and the Mech said that all it was a 2 yellow cables under the front seats he said it was a pretty common problem and that i shouldnt worry about it. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen, tried searching and all i could really find that seemed to be a 'common' occurance was the clock spring.

Going through same issue with my TL. Mine came on when wife moved passenger seat whilst we were moving. At times it will go out whilst driving or come on whilst driving. Going to dealer on thurs.

Same problem with my TW VRX AWD. It happens when there is something under the seat hitting the harness.

Fix - remove the offending stuff, wiggle the harness (found under the seat) and all will be good after restarting the car. In my experience anyway.

My SRS light in my TL came on when my indicator fuse blew.:nuts:

i have a cd stacker just placed under the pass seat - its not botled down or anything and it moves around a bit when i decide to "get up it" around corners etc - and the stacker is ALWAYS moving around under there..
Iv never had the SRS light come on for no reason (yet)
