Should the D on the dash come on? mine doesn't.

Should the aerial automatically retract when you power off the radio?

Yes & yes. The bulb has probably blown on the D light. you can replace it if you can be bothered. If the ariel isn't retracting, you probably need to replace the mast, they have a habit of wearing out :cry:

na the globe is probably blown in the cluster. mine is the same and i cbf changin it

and the areal probably wont retract on its own if its not an electric one. im not sure if the solaras came with the electric areal or not

D should but won't if the LED is blown, as the thread above will explain.

Ariel won't retract unless its electric, which I don't think the Solara's had.

I am running my mp3 player through the stereo for the moment, and that is heaps better than "FM".

JB's are having a sale tomorrow, I was thinking of organising some better speakers.

might put an electric aerial on the shopping list.
