Just wondering if theres any tips on how to install the outer CV joint onto the shaft????
The part i had trouble with is the getting the circlip to depress so i could push cv joint onto shaft!!!!
I spent an hour with 2 of us with 3 small screwdrivers pushing it in but could not for the life of me get the cv joint on.....
I finally gave up and went up road to cv joint who did it in around 10 min for $15

WHAT IS THE BLOODY SECRET TO THIS?

a press set up for the specific job

and extra circlips

so how do you get the circlip to depress and slide cv joint over it without using 2 people
I cant see how it can be done without at least 3 screwdrivers pushing in on circlip
can it be done?

Doesnt look like to many do this!!!!!!!!!!!

much easier to pay for the whole cv drive shaft and have it fitted

"you break/force apart and remove the circlip " then use a new one
