I have a KE Verada. Was wondering whats the brand for the stock HU? Panasonic? Mitsubushi Electric? Bose (:gtfo: )? Harman Kardon (:bowrofl: )? Mark Levinson (:badgrin: )?

Any ideas?

doesnt really matter what brand it is, the only magna/verada to get a half decent stereo was/is the ralliart (which got a decent eclipse deck), all the rest are noticeably crap when replaced with an aftermarket deck. HU=major bottleneck in these cars.

that said, who wants to buy a KJ deck? :bowrofl:

It would be a Eurovox. If you have a Ei, I believe it should have a single CD slot in the HU itself or if it's an Xi, a CD stacker.

Yes they are, stright plug in job. I put my KJ headunit/stacker into my old KE when I sold it.

My TJ11 had a clarion HU and clarion 50w rms 6x9's stock plus the front speakers i haven't touched or seen, asuming they're clarion as well (now a pioneer HU and pioneer 250w rms 6x9's with a MTX 200w 2ch amp. cranks to the shiz-nik :D ). but having said that, the stock system wasn't too bad for a stock system. trust me, I've heard worse *cough*KE laser*cough* lol

pretty sure all the mitsu stuff is Clarion. my TJ vrx, dads express van, KJ verada tape/cd we put into dads van and my friends lancer are all Clarion units. i reckon they go pretty well for factory units if you not a "sound junky".

Yep, that's a Eurovox. I had the same one in my car for a little while and was much better than the standard TJ HU that's for sure. There was alot more bass and I think it just generally made better use of the speakers.

yeh *should* be KE compatible, you'd have to double check the looms to see. also comes with the indash 4cd changer...
as for price, i think i might try again in the for sale section
