Okay after a few weeks of noticing that my car has been lacking in power at first I just thought it was because the car was a little old. I kept driving it thinking damn I really need to upgrade to the TE but I kept with it until finally I was looking at my exhaust and I noticed the muffler had a big crack in it. I was actually glad as I figured this was the reason why it had been lacking in power as of late. So basically I need to replace my muffler. Some people I know replace their mufflers to better the performance of their car and I figure hey well If there is ever a time to replace it, it's when its cracked. So basically I drive a 2.6L TR GLX and was wondering if anyone around on here especially the guys in Perth could give me a recommendation of what muffler I should go for that will hopefully give it a bit more power to my magna and a round about cost of one. Thanks. I will be probably trying to get it replaced within the next few days. Dan

Lukey LR2779 always gives a good result in both noise and free-flow. Abou $150-$200 fitted through most shops.

Yeah i'm thinking of going for the Lukey LR2779 muffler only problem is according to this thread

It is no longer available. Is there a good alternative or one that is very similar. I will ask anyway if they still sell the LR2779. I'm in Perth. Apparently the Magnaflow is good too.

It's all good :D Getting my Lukey LR2779 muffler on Monday for $220 fully installed. Rear bumper won't need any trimming. Was hoping for $200 but hey I just won $110 at the casino the other night(was my 2nd trip to the Burswood Cas) so I can't complain too much about $220. Long live the Magna!!

Ended up delaying my muffler and got the Lukey LR2779 fully installed for $160 which I thought was a bargain. Sounds great and performs a little better too. Also got my right outer CV joint replaced + something to do with my carby since the car was shuddering and also a general service all for only $130 cos my dad knows this guy. Not bad. Car drives great now I'm pleased for your recommendations etc guys. Thanks.
