i'm in a serious jam here. long story short my car needs a new clutch, but i am trying to find out if there are any aftermarket options i can use. so far have only found one post by benny that kinda suits my situation (ie more or less same car). basically heres the details...

my car: 1997 TE 2.4 Manual (that seems to b the problem)

what i want: a stiffer and more durable clutch than the standard one as it seems to burn out rather easily.

how much am i looking at???? (my std one cost me something like 700-1k last time which sounds quite high)

this repair has to happen asap so time is a major factor here, any feed back will be most appreciated!!!

i've got an extra heavy duty soft touch in mine, i'ts the same softnes as the standard one
