I want iPod connectivity and mp3 playback!

Will there be a noticeable improvement?

yes, mostly anything is better than stock units, even over the so called 'premium sound' on veradas (this coming from a KJ owner perspective)

if you have a rada, also maybe consider a double din unit, can look classier

LOL

I'm '06 Lancer VRX owner, but my car has the same 2-din 'Premium Audio' unit that the TW/KW's came with, so I figure that this is a better place to ask than in a Lancer forum! I have considered a direct replacement 2-din unit, but anything that is good runs in at almost double the price of a similarly spec'ed single. Only JVC seems to have a decent 2-din unit with good features for under $500.

It's not bad for a stock unit actually, but yeah.... could be better, and no MP3  .

the jvc units are pretty good, but obviously you'd need the adapter for bluetooth, and one for the ipod :(
ah well, its a lancer, doesnt need to look shmik ;)

Just get a good single din and get the 1 din plastic holder for like $30.
